2017 Mission Project

We are pleased to announce our 2017 VBS Mission Project! This year we will be raising money to place Blessing Boxes around the Waverly and Shell Rock communities. These boxes will be stocked with non-perishable food items, paper products, and personal care items that will be free for people who find themselves in need.
 
Our goal is to place 5 boxes for $200 each. Any additional funds will be used to keep the boxes stocked throughout the year. Offerings will be collected each night of VBS with some friendly competition.

Cave Quest Wrap-up

It was an AWESOME week at Cave Quest with over 160 kids and 90 volunteers from 15 different churches learning to Follow Jesus–the Light of the World! We exceeded our goal and raised $1,362 for school supplies for local foster families through Allison Area Foster Parents Support Group. Thank you to everyone who participated. We can’t wait to see you again next year!

Mission Project School Supplies

We’re excited to announce our 2016 mission project! The Allison Area Foster Parents Support Group connects, supports, and strengthens foster and adoptive families in a four county area. Each year the group helps provide the specific school supplies foster families need, as well as brand new backpacks for the kids. Help us make it a great Back-to-School year for these local families!

We will issue fun giving challenges each night at VBS, so get those bills and coins ready!
